Large Fresh Soap and Water sign

Back for those who missed it!!!

This beautiful sign was designed after the original signs found in public bath houses in the late 1800s through early 1900s. Public baths were the answer in densely populated industrial cities to promote personal cleanliness and, ultimately, Godliness and good civic behavior.

Public bath houses usually offered showers and laundry facilities. The prices varied but on average it was 5 cents for a bath which included the water and the soap in most cases.

The designer paid great attention to the details of this piece. We just love it when we can bring you a piece of our American history and shed some light on the nostalgia behind it!

This sweet sign brings vintage inspirations into your bath & laundry rooms or anywhere else you might want to clean up your act! Hang it over a basket of soaps and hand towels for the perfect touch.
