The depth of this is 2 inches??? I ask to see if a magnet strip would fit behind it also so you could hang utensils with or without hooks???????

I noticed the photo with the silver hooks (over the stovetop) and the description box picture the hooks are black. I didn't see a color choice selection box. I think the black hooks seem thicker. Which ones would I get if I ordered?
