Remove any foliage from the flowers that falls below the waterline of your vase. In

stems diagonally using sharp scissors or a knife, approximately one inch from
the stem’s bottom edge. Immediately after cutting, place the stems in the
prepared water.

Allow flowers at least 4 hours to hydrate well. Most flowers will take up to 8 to 12
hours to properly hydrate. Keep flowers in a cool, dark location away from
direct sunlight, drafts or excessive heat. Change water every 24 hours and
re-cut stems every 24 to 48 hours to keep flowers fresh. Assure that your
flowers have sufficient water. The flowers will drink an exceptionally large
amount of water upon arrival.
Flowers may arrive looking “sleepy” or “thirsty.” This is NORMAL. Proper hydration is
the key to beautiful blooms. Please follow the care tips to get your flowers
into tip-top shape. We always recommend that you care for your flowers
immediately upon arrival. Many of these flowers have just completed an
international journey and need water. We can’t stress enough! There’s no need
to be alarmed. Your flowers need time to hydrate for their big debut. You will
learn to care for the flowers just like a professional florist!
Your Bloom Bar flowers are fresher than the flowers available in the local florist or supermarket. Since you have purchased directly from the grower, your flowers were cut, packed, shipped and delivered directly to your doorstep - with no interruptions or middlemen. The normal distribution process for flowers from other sources can take up to 15 days or more, but with us, your flowers are guaranteed to be no more than 3-4 days old. If you follow the care instruction card enclosed with your shipment, your flowers can last as long as 2 weeks in top form
We suggest you place your flower order at least two weeks to one month prior to your event. Next day orders may be possible depending on flower variety and availability. However, ordering in advance locks in current prices and improves availability chances. Orders come on a first come, first serve basis.
The earliest orders will be fulfilled first. This is very important if a specific variety sells out. Waiting to the last moment could risk that we are sold out of the specific flower you need. Most importantly, ordering in advance allows you to check this task off your to-do list!
We do not provide flower food regularly with our flowers. Since our flowers are shipped directly from the farms, we have chosen not to include flowers food due to agricultural inspections. Flower food is not 100% necessary to add to the water, yet it will extend the vase life of your flowers. Our flowers have been properly prepared for their journey.
The most important steps you can take to ensure long-lasting flowers includes cutting the flower's stem diagonally and placing it in fresh cool water. However, if you would like to use flower food, you may find it at your local garden center, florist or grocery store.
We begin to process your order the moment it is placed! We are unable to cancel orders at this time so please review your order very carefully before placing it.
We’re sorry to hear that something isn’t right with your flowers! Please reach out to our customer service team within 24 hours of delivery. We'll ask for a photo of the flowers and shipping label so we can understand the issue and make it right. Whether it’s a delivery mix-up, an item that’s damaged, or something else, we’ll do our best to resolve it quickly so you can enjoy your fresh blooms!
No need to be concerned! Due to variations in screen settings and the natural beauty of flowers, the color may look slightly different in person than it did online. However, rest assured that the overall color family and arrangement will be the same as shown. Nature has its own unique touch, and each flower is a one-of-a-kind piece!
In rare circumstances, we may need to substitute a flower in your order if the
requested flowers are unavailable. We will do our best to find similar flowers
in color, value, and style. We will always try to reach you for confirmation;
However, in some cases, we may need to ship your order without confirmation. If
this happens, we will only substitute flowers of equal or higher value.
Unfortunately, we cannot deliver flowers on federal holidays, as carriers do not operate on those days. We recommend scheduling your delivery for the next available business day.
Our flowers are shipped fresh directly from our
partner farms. Receiving farm direct flowers is different than receiving
flowers from a grocer or florist. Depending on the type of flower, extra
leaves/foliage, thorns, guard petals, anthers, etc., can be removed. Following
the important care and preparation steps below will help ensure the quality and
extend the vase life of your flowers for as long as possible. Most flowers
require the same general care. However, there are a few that need special
attention.
Remember
that exposing flowers to warm environments (outside, a hot room, sunlight,
etc.) will help the flowers bloom. Storing your flowers in a cooler environment
will slow down the opening process. Most flowers should be kept in a cool, dark
location unless you are trying to speed up the blooming process. Always avoid
direct sunlight and excessive heat.
Also, keep flowers away from fruits, vegetables, and plants that produce
ethylene gas. Ethylene in the surrounding area causes wilting.
Bulk Roses are shipped directly from farms to your doorstep. Before shipping
your flowers, we prepare them for their journey with proper hydration methods. If
your flowers appear sleepy and thirsty after their journey, it is absolutely
NORMAL. Just follow these simple steps to ensure your flowers have the
proper care.
Tip:
Wear protective gloves while handling your roses. Thorns may be present and
tinted roses can stain hands and clothing.
When your boxes
arrive, it is important to get your flowers in water as quickly as
possible.
Remove roses
from box by cutting any straps. Do not remove the cardboard
sleeve that is holding the roses together in a bunch. It is recommended to
leave the cardboard sleeve on for 4 to 8 hours while the roses hydrate and
then remove once well hydrated. Remove all plastic packaging and rubber
bands.
Inspect your flowers.*
Gather clean buckets,
vases, or containers for your flowers. Ensure your buckets, vases
containers are very clean. We recommend rinsing them with warm water.
Fill the buckets or
containers with at least 4 inches of fresh, cool water. If flower food is
available, follow the package directions for adding it to the water.
Remove any foliage
from the flowers that falls below the waterline of your containers. When
removing foliage, care should be taken to not damage the stem. Removing
any foliage that falls below the waterline will help prevent the
growth of mold or bacteria which could cause premature wilting.
Cut stems diagonally
under running water using clean, sharp flower shears or scissors. Cut
approximately 1 inch from the bottom of the stem. Immediately after
cutting, place the stems in the prepared water.
Ensure that you have
sufficient room in each container for the amount of stems you will be
storing. Overcrowding may cause damage to flowers and effect proper
blooming.
Allow the roses at
least 4 hours to hydrate well. It can take up to 8 to 12 hours to properly
hydrate. If you see that some flowers are still drooping after 3-4 hours,
it is possible an air bubble has formed in the stem. Re-cut
following the above directions.
Keep flowers in a
cool, dark location away from direct sunlight, drafts, or extreme
temperatures and heat.
To keep your flowers
fresh, change the water every 24 to 48 hours or when the water becomes
cloudy. The water will change color if the roses are tinted. Simply change
water as directed. Ensure that your flowers have sufficient water at all
times. They will drink an exceptionally large amount of water upon
arrival.
We ship our roses with
guard petals intact in order to protect the rose during shipping. Upon
removal of the protective cardboard packaging, carefully pluck off any
brown or discolored guard petals. It is not uncommon to remove an average
of 5-10 petals per rose.
Remember
that exposing flowers to warm temperatures will help the flower to bloom,
and storing your flowers in a cooler environment will slow down the blooming
process.
Caring for tinted flowers requires a delicate touch to preserve both their vibrant
color and overall freshness. Start by placing the tinted flowers in clean vases
filled with lukewarm water, ensuring that no foliage is submerged as it may
decay and affect water quality. Change the water every few days to prevent
bacterial growth and enhance the longevity of the color treatment. Keep the
flowers away from direct sunlight and heat sources, as prolonged exposure can
fade the tint. Additionally, trim the stems at an angle regularly to promote
water absorption. While tinted flowers may not last as long as their natural
counterparts, with proper care, you can extend the duration of their vibrancy
and enjoy their uniquely colored beauty.
